Hey everyone, this week has been awesome! We found 2 new people to teach! One we found through Facebook and the other was a number in our records we texted and they wanted to hear messages about Jesus Christ. It always feels good when you can find new people and be sharing the gospel with others. We didn't have any huge things happen this week. We met with a lot of members. We got together as a District and had lunch. We worked on Facebook. Overall this week was pretty normal but really fun.

Hey everyone, this week went by pretty fast. So at the start of this week was transfers. I stayed in the Anderson Creek Park ward and my companion left. I got a new companion who is pretty cool. We have a lot of fun. This week was kind of hard because most of the people we have been talking to were busy or stopped texting us. One person we have been talking to has a sports radio show, so with the NFL playoffs, he has been pretty busy. We have been meeting with lots of members and talk with them and that has been a lot of fun. One thing we have been doing a lot of has been trying to find interested people through Facebook. I made a group called Daily Uplifting Thoughts where I am going to try to post a Uplifting thought, quote or scripture. If you want to join, here is the link! https://www.facebook.com/groups/876784576430232/?ref=share

Hey everyone, how are ya doing?
This week has been pretty good. A little slower but that happens. All of our lessons with the people we are teaching fell through. We were able to meet with a bunch of members so that was pretty fun.
Our car broke down again this week. The battery was bad and got drained so it wouldn't start even when we tried to jump it. It only took a day to fix so that was pretty good.
On Wednesday we did have an eventful day. We had district council in the morning and then Elder Stone, my companion, wanted to mail something. We got to the post office and he got his box and was putting stuff inside of it. A man walked in and saw us and said something about us looking like we came from church. We said we are missionaries for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He said he wanted to show us his truck so we went outside with him. On the back of his truck, he had a sign talking about Jesus and all the things Jesus doesn't like. He started yelling at us about all the ways we can sin and how we have devils inside of us. We tried to talk we with him about the Book of Mormon but he didn't want to talk about it. Elder Stone still needed to mail his package so we said "we hope you have a great day, can we say a quick prayer with you?" He responded by saying we have demons inside of us and we cant pray. That was a first for me but I wasn't scared or anything. He was yelling at us, but I know that the Book of Mormon is true and that our Heavenly Father loves us and wants to forgive us when we reach out for his help.
Other than that, we have transfers tomorrow. I am staying in my area and my companion is moving to a new area. I am excited to meet my new companion and have a lot of fun.
Well, thank you so much for all your support and prayers. It means a lot to me and I can feel the difference it makes. I love you all and can't wait to talk with you again!

Hey Everyone, Happy New Year!
This week was pretty fun. We had some awesome lessons with some of our most progressing people. This week we were able to meet with a lot of members and actually give quite a few blessings. It has been really cool for me to learn more about giving blessings by being out and just helping people.
Next week is transfers and something is probably going to change. This is my last week of training so that's pretty exciting.
This week I have been working on door approaches. We aren't tracking so I have only done one door approach but I want to get better at them.
This week during Fast and Testimony meeting I was able to bear my testimony. I bore my testimony on the power of the priesthood. I'm going to do that here. I know that the priesthood is the power of God. He has given it to us to help others. I am so grateful for being able to have the priesthood in my life. For being able to have, and now give blessings. For being able to partake of the sacrament wash week. And probably my favorite, being able to be with my family for ever after this life. Knowing that the priesthood can help me feel that joy makes me appreciate it so much more. I know that our Heavenly Father loves us and that he gave us the priesthood so we can help others. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
It has been so cool seeing my growth in everything. I have grown in my confidence, my knowledge, and my testimony. My mission has been such a experience. I have learned how I want to live after my mission. Its just different than anything else I have done. I am excited to keep learning and getting better.
Love you all, and hope you have a great 2021!
