Weekly Email - 29 March 2021

Hey Everyone, how's it going?

This weeks been pretty fun. On Tuesday we had a meeting about how we use Facebook better. It's been interesting becasue they have been making a lot of changes. They are still working on merging the Facebook pages so we really dont know what's happening. 

 

Wednesday we just worked on talking to people. We had a awesome member dinner. Thursday morning we went and did service at a horse rescue one of our new members volunteers at. It was really fun, we helped brush the horses, cleaned up and even helped fix an electric fence. On Friday we worked on a Facebook video we are making. We are asking some kids questions about Jesus. On Saturday we went in to a trio. Another missionary in our zone moved so we got his companion. We played ultimate Frisbee with some members and non members and that was super fun. On Sunday we went to both sacrament meetings and did some more recording for our video. We had a Bible study that night and that was fun. 

I had a great week and am having fun. I hope y'all are doing good. Next week is transfers and I'll try to email when I figure out what's happening.

Horse Rescue Service Project - 25 March 2021

This is a horse rescue one of our new members volunteers at. They really wanted us to come with them so we spent the morning helping out by cleaning up and fixing some things over there.

 

Weekly Email - 22 March 2021

 Hey everyone! 

 This week was ok. It was a little slow but that happens sometime. On Tuesday I had a interview with our mission president and that was cool. He still hasn't heard anything about Jamaica so I still don't know when I'll be heading back. We have been doing a lot of contacting people to see if they are interested in learning. We haven't really gotten anything back from people but we are going to keep trying. We have been meeting and teaching with someone so that has been really fun. We talked about the Book of Mormon with Him and he liked it. We gave him one and he started reading. We are planning on going over again this week to talk with him more. 

We are switching things up with our Facebook page and we are starting to do Facebook groups. Ours is called Finding Christ around Fayetteville if any of you want to join.  I've been having fun and working hard. 

 

I also just wanted to include my testimony of the scriptures. I know that they have been given to us from prophets of God. I know that as we read them, we can know what God really wants for us.

Weekly Email - 15 March 2021

Hey everyone! 

Sorry I missed last week. We went into the army base and did one of their obstacle courses. It was super fun, then we went and looked at a bunch of the old tanks and planes they had. After that we played sand volley ball and I was able to spike on a couple people. It was awesome! 

Not too much has happened these last 2 weeks. We have been reaching our to as many people we can. We have been making stuff for our Facebook page and that's been fun. We have gotten to get out and do service so that's been amazing because it's been getting warm here.we had a zone conference this week where we get together with all the missionaries around us and we learn and talk with our mission President. It was really fun and I took a lot of notes. 

 

We've been visiting people and just trying our best to stay active. With Facebook and texting people our biggest finding techniques right now, we don't even always leave the house everyday. 

I'm having fun and working hard. I love you all and hope you have a great week. I'll try to write next Monday and hopefully I have a super exciting week!

Weekly Email - 1 March 2021

Hey Everyone one! 

Sorry about how long its been. Later couple weeks have been a little busy. My Birthday was a few weeks ago. I got a Ukulele and it is so much fun! I also got some cards and got from y'all. Thank you so much! We had transfers and me and my comp stayed. We have been having a lot of fun.

This last week has been the most fun. So the Sunday before last our SIM card stopped working. We had no internet so we had to go to the church if we wanted to do anything online. The church is 30 minutes away so it made things pretty hard. On Tuesday we were working at the church and doing stuff on Facebook and the Missionaries that lived near the church came and hung out with us. They got a call from our leaders and a new missionary was coming in and his Dad has Covid. He had to be quarantined with his trainer. There are 2 companionships of missionaries that live there so the other set came down and is living in our house with us. It has been really fun. We have talked and we ever were able to use their hotspot so we didn't have to drive up to the church everyday. We have been working a lot at something new called Facebook tracting. We are reaching out to people over Facebook to start talking with them about the messages we share. It's been alright, we haven't had too many people respond to us. Today for P-Day we played a lot of Volleyball. It has been super fun getting better at volleyball. 

 

That's it for now. We have still been teaching people and trying to meet with them. This last week it has been a little hard to get a hold of people so not to much right now but we have a lot set up!
